Headshots that book auditions.
You're doing the work. So why aren't you getting auditions?
If your headshots are too generic, too modelly, or too polished to show who you really are, casting skips past you before you even get the chance to prove you're the better actor.

Why You're Not Getting Auditions
You're doing acting classes, casting workshops, free student films on weekends, helping your friend on his film for free, organising the extras, being an extra, but never getting a speaking role.
And you're still not getting enough auditions.
Most actors don't sit around thinking, my headshots are the problem.
They think:
Maybe my agent isn't pushing for me.
Maybe it's just a quiet period.
Maybe everyone else knows something I don't.
Maybe it's me.
But sometimes the problem is simpler than that.
Sometimes your materials are not doing their job.
It's not your talent
Your photos might not look bad.
They might even look good.
But if they are too generic, too modelly, too polished, too fashiony, or too disconnected from how you actually read, they are not helping casting place you quickly.
You don't look bad. You just look like everyone else.
And that means you can be doing everything right, be a better actor, and still not even get the audition.
There is always that actor in your bracket who seems to get called in for everything.
You know the one.
Maybe they have less training than you. Maybe you know you're a better actor. But somehow they keep getting the audition and you don't even get seen.
That's the part that really stings.
Your headshot is the first gate
Casting decisions happen fast.
Casting is a funnel.
You don't go straight from "being talented" to getting the job.
You have to get through a lot of steps first.
Your headshot is the first.
Before the showreel.
Before the self tape.
Before the audition.
Before the callback.
Before anyone knows what you can actually do.
Your photo has to stop the scroll (literally in a sea of other headshots) and make sense fast.
It has to tell casting who they are looking at and where you fit.
If it doesn't do that, you'll get filtered out before your talent even enters the conversation.
That's why a nice photo is not enough.
That's why just getting new headshots is not enough.
The real issue is whether your current images are helping you through the first gate.
If nothing changes
You do another round of photos because they look nice enough.
You keep telling yourself you'll sort it out properly later.
Three months go by and you're still checking your email, still not getting called in, still watching other actors move while you stay in the same place.
And after a while it stops feeling like a materials problem and starts feeling like something is wrong with you.
That's what this is here to fix.
Why this matters
A nice photo is not the same thing as a castable photo.
A nice photo is not the same thing as a castable photo.
Headshots can look beautiful and still fail.
If they are too fashiony, too polished, too flattering in the wrong way, or too disconnected from how you actually read on screen, they don't help you.
In some cases, they can make things worse.
Casting does not need a surprise when you walk in.
They need clarity.
Your headshot should look like you.
On your best, most accurate day.
They need to know who they are looking at and where you fit in their world.
How we get there
This isn't a turn-up-and-shoot situation.
It's a proper process.
Pre-shoot Zoom session — we talk through your casting type, how you're currently being submitted, what roles you're right for, and what your headshots need to do.
Personalised styling and colour prep — I analyse your skin tone, hair, and eye colour and put together a guide for you covering what colours, fabrics, and styles will read best on camera. You get this before the shoot so you're not guessing what to wear.
Fully directed shoot — I direct expression and energy so the shots feel like you, not a posed version of you. We shoot studio and natural light to give you range, and we create natural, industry-appropriate images that look truthful in the room.
Curated proof gallery — I cull and select so you're not overwhelmed by hundreds of images.
10 fully retouched images — subtle, respectful retouching so the final images still feel like your face.
This is not a fashion shoot. It's a focused process built around casting clarity.
The goal is simple: headshots that help people place you quickly and want to call you in.
Who it's for
Actors updating their materials
Actors not getting enough auditions and unsure why
Actors whose current shots feel too modelly, too old, or no longer accurate
Actors who have changed hair or look
Actors signing with a new agent
Actors who want headshots that actually support their career
Who It's Not For
Actors looking for glamour portraits or heavily retouched beauty shots
People wanting a fashion shoot or dramatic editorial styling
Anyone who just wants a nice photo for social media
Actors focused mainly on quantity of images rather than getting the right images
People who are not open to direction or strategic thinking about their casting type
What you actually want
You don't want "nice photos."
You want more auditions.
You want your materials to finally help you instead of quietly working against you.
You want casting to look at your photo and get it.
You want your agent to have something strong to send out.
You want to open your email and finally see something there.
You want to feel like you are back in the game.
Imagine having headshots that actually do their job.
Your photo looks like you.
It reads like you.
It tells people who they are looking at and where you fit.
You stop feeling like everyone else has some secret you missed.
You stop worrying that your photos are promising something false.
You send the tape or walk into the room knowing your materials got you through the first gate.
And now you finally get the chance to do the part only you can do.
Why I created this
I'm a working actor as well as a photographer, which means I understand this from both sides.
I know what it feels like to want shots that are flattering but still truthful.
I know how easy it is to end up with photos that look good but don't actually help.
And I know how much subtle shifts in expression, styling, and direction can change how casting reads you.

"Thank you so much Amy for your amazing photos! I’ve never worked with such a great photographer that made me feel so relaxed in front of the camera. I absolutely love your work and can’t wait to work with you again!!"

Brett told me it was the best photoshoot he had ever had, and that in more than 20 years he had never had a shoot he actually enjoyed, felt comfortable in, or loved the photos from.
